Here goes nothing…

The day has finally come for me to begin what I have long been wanting to do, start a blog. My family has been my main motivation for this whole new venture & it’s because of them that I bit the bullet and decided to go for it! Blogging in 2021 may seem like the “trendy” thing to do, but that is not why I’m here. Since moving into our first rental home in 2013 I started sharing recipes, my love of gardening, and simple home improvements/DIYs. It was back then when I began telling myself to start a blog . Here now, 8 years later I am doing it! Allow me to introduce myself-

hi!! My name is Deanna and I am so happy you are here! My favorite thing about myself is I am a mommy to two amazing boys, Daniel + Crue! My fiancé, myself, and our boys live in Goshen, NJ on our up and coming hobby farm. My fiancé Dan and I bought our home in June of 2018 and it has been so rewarding! This home has been such a blessing to us. It continues to teach us new lessons every day and truly allows us to grow into the passions we have so longed for. I am a waitress full time at an amazing fine dining restaurant in Cape May and I have loved working there for the past 9 years! My true passions in life (besides being a Mom) are growing our own food, baking, cooking, raising animals for a purpose, and making our house feel like a home. I cannot wait to share everything I have learned along the way and continue to learn each day! Though this introduction be short I can only hope you will all stick around to see the goings on our farm, try out the recipes I share, and mainly be inspired! Let the journey begin…
